She dreamed of his being the first in a long family line and then my father, who was the second Davison, never had any boys to carry on the name. Glenn&#8217;s son is Charles Davison Hurry, and he is the closest to carrying on the name<\/p>\n<p>I assumed from this that my grandfather, Charles C. Davison, was adopted into the Davison family so the earlier Davisons are not related.<\/p>\n<p>______________________________________________________________________________<br \/>\nMom, You have told me that CC Davison was adopted into Davison family. I was wondering if he was born to Chase parents in Albany, NY? Don<\/p>\n<p>I have no idea who adopted him or who his parents were. Grandma kept all of the family information in her bible but I never saw it after she died. My cousin Glenn died last fall so we will never know.
