My grandmother always talked bout how her husband was the “first” Davison in the blood line. She dreamed of his being the first in a long family line and then my father, who was the second Davison, never had any boys to carry on the name. Glenn’s son is Charles Davison Hurry, and he is the closest to carrying on the name
I assumed from this that my grandfather, Charles C. Davison, was adopted into the Davison family so the earlier Davisons are not related.

Her mother was born in ship from Ireland.
Her stepfather was John B. Rozler and her stepuncle was Clarence Rozler of
Lancaster, NY.
Member of Alden Presbyterian Church since about 1895.
Mary E. Ames sent an email to cousin Glenn Hurry and asked what he knew about the Sheldons. He says Grandpa Sheldon was Grandmother Myrtle Casey Davison’s grandfather. She has to assume it was on her mother’s side since her father’s name was Casey. Don Ames has newspaper clipping on Frank Sheldon which picture is included.
